Hello, and welcome to Mills Scientifics, LLC!
I'm the scientist and founder behind Mills Scientifics, where my passion for scientific discovery meets my commitment to making science engaging, accessible, and meaningful for young learners.
My academic journey began with a Bachelor of Science in Honors Biology from Morgan State University and continued with a Ph.D. in Biomedical and Veterinary Science from Virginia Tech. Through my scientific training and research experience, I developed a deep appreciation for the process of discovery: asking questions, investigating possibilities, analyzing evidence, and uncovering how the world works.
But science is about more than what we discover in a laboratory. It is a way of thinking, exploring, and understanding the world around us. I believe children should have opportunities to experience that excitement early in their educational journeys.
Why Mills Scientifics?
Mills Scientifics was created to bring science beyond the textbook and into the hands of young learners. Through interactive lessons, hands-on experiments, and creative STEM challenges, students are encouraged to explore scientific concepts in ways that make learning memorable.
My goal is not simply to teach children scientific facts. It is to help them develop the curiosity, confidence, and critical-thinking skills that empower them to become lifelong learners.
